1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Pitch Party, you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree, refrain from using the app. We reserve the right to update terms at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting.

2. Booking Process

• Users must create an account with accurate details (name, phone, email).
• Venue availability is subject to real-time updates; bookings are confirmed only after payment.
• Users must be 18+ to book venues.

3. Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed in KES via M-Pesa, credit/debit cards, or other approved methods.
• Full payment is required to secure bookings.
• Cancellations:
  • 100% refund if canceled 48+ hours before the event.
  • 50% refund if canceled 24–48 hours before.
  • No refunds within 24 hours of the event.
• Pitch Party is not liable for third-party payment failures (e.g., network issues).

4. User Responsibilities

• Users must respect venue rules (noise levels, capacity, etc.).
• Damage to property will incur repair/replacement costs billed to the user.
• Prohibited: illegal substances, weapons, or disruptive behavior.

5. Liability

Pitch Party is not responsible for:

• Technical glitches affecting bookings.
• Injuries, losses, or theft at venues.
• Cancellations due to venue owner decisions or force majeure (e.g., power outages, strikes).

6. Data Privacy

• User data is collected per Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
• Data is used solely for booking purposes and not shared without consent.
• Users can request data deletion via privacy@pitchparty.com.

7. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will first be resolved via negotiation.
• Unresolved disputes escalate to Kenyan courts under Kenyan law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
